This summer, thanks to Oakland Foundation’s support, four Active Families Fundays lit up North Northamptonshire – giving families a fantastic free day out together.
Across Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden and Kettering, they welcomed 13,950 people (over 3,800 families!).
Over 50 local organisations, sports clubs and VCSE groups took part.
Activities from climbing walls, trampolines and bumper cars to archery, basketball shoot-outs, and mini golf.
We are delighted that our funding helped make these incredible free events possible, connecting families, communities and services in such a positive way.
