Well the sun shone for the half term break as our Grant Application Coordinator Debbie Roberts travelled around to meet with some of those the Oakland Foundation supports.
Said Debbie: “It was great to meet Dave Phelan from P and E Sports and to see the amazing time the children were having during their half term break activity week in Redditch. I was a delighted to see 100 children having the time of their lives and enjoying a variety of activities.
“Rooms were designated for glow in the dark dodgeball, arts and crafts, archery, gymnastics, games room, football and so much more and I spoke to many of the children who all said they were having a great time.”
Dave passed on his thanks via Debbie to the Foundation for enabling P and E Sports the opportunity to offer 20 free children’s places daily to those who otherwise would not have been able to attend.
