The Oakland Foundation was delighted to support the U13 Girls team of the Oadby Owls Football Club in Leicester through much needed kit sponsorship, which has helped to remove the financial barrier and ensured all girls who want to can continue to play football at the club. In addition the Foundation provided funding for dedicated Rainbow period packs.
Oakland Foundation’s Grants Co-ordinator Debbie Roberts said: “It’s wonderful to see the smiles on the girls’ faces and to hear how delighted they were when they found out that they had secured Foundation sponsorship.
“We wish them continued success throughout this season as the current Oadby Owls U13’s will very soon become the U14’s girls’ team!”
