Oakland Foundation trustee and grant application co‑ordinator Mark Williams, together with Oakland International co‑founder Sallie Attwell, thoroughly enjoyed attending Worcestershire Family Hubs’ recent picnic and games event in Redditch, which was funded by the Oakland Foundation.
Reflecting on the day, Mark said: “It was a fantastic event, with families enjoying the sunshine, getting involved in the wide range of activities, sharing picnics together, and making new connections. The atmosphere was really positive and inclusive.”
The event highlighted the importance of community activities in bringing families together and creating lasting memories, something the Oakland Foundation is passionate about supporting.
