Thanks to a generous donation from the Oakland Foundation, Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch has welcomed three brand-new outdoor table tennis tables, and the response from students has been nothing short of electric.
Every break and lunchtime, eager queues form as students rush to enjoy the new additions. Rain or shine, the excitement remains undiminished, and the school has now launched a lively afterschool table tennis club every Friday, as well as purchased an additional indoor table for use within the school’s specialist autism provision.
Associate Principal Ben Lumley shared his enthusiasm: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the arrival of these tables, made possible by the Oakland Foundation. Seeing our students so engaged and having fun is truly fantastic. The new afterschool club has quickly become a highlight of our week!”
